|Purpose / Objectives||1) To evaluate and confirm under greenhouse conditions the performance of glyphosate-tolerant/
insect-protected corn hybrids/lines, and glyphosate-tolerant hybrids/lines.
2) To assess the crop safety of glyphosate herbicide applied at various dosage rates and growth stages of the transgenic corn plants.
|Biosafety measures||1. There should only be one entrance/exit door to limit entry/access to the greenhouse and it should be provided with lock. The door shall be locked for the duration of the work except for those periods when personnel are actually working inside it.
2. All plants must be detasseled or covered with plastic bag upon reaching the reproductive stage.
3. The surrounding area of the screen house/ greenhouse shall be kept clean and free from weeds.
4. No related plant species shall be planted around the screen house/ greenhouse or there should be an isolation distance of at least 200 m
